For those of us who have lived our lives surrounded by music, not only playing it through the day and into the night, but chasing it to concerts, live venues and record fairs too, the end game is always the same: to take it all home and hear it exactly as it deserves to be heard.

That is Absolute Sounds Happening, on the 17th and 18th of October, a couple hundred yards off the A1 at Wansford.

For over forty years, Absolute Sounds has been defining the art of system building, bringing together the world’s finest audio components to create music systems of extraordinary realism. The Happening is an invitation to experience that philosophy beyond the listening room.

A series of moderated conversations, led by Alan Sircom, editor of hi-fi+ magazine, will bring together designers, engineers and industry leaders to explore the craftsmanship, innovation and ideas shaping the future of music reproduction.

Live Music

The Happening will be filled with live music across the weekend. Dust Me Down Blues Band bring their Chicago blues, gospel and seventies funk to the stage, while Nizar Rohana and Tony Overwater, a beautiful acoustic jazz duo from Holland, offer a sound that is altogether more enchanting and engulfing.
