Diamond tips wear out and over time can cause groove damage resulting in higher surface noise and poor performance, not to mention the cost of replacement of the cartridge, retip or rebuild.

What if you could track the groove with no resulting damage and a lack of drag or friction?

We encountered a  working example of the something that could revolutionise vinyl replay. Imagine simply a micro wheel which replaces the cantilever and tip, and runs friction free in the groove, passing signal with no mechanical noise to the windings in the cartridge.
