Psychicemotus is an excellent 1965 album from the always versatile Yusef Lateef which runs the gamut musically, from the Coltrane influenced “Semi-Octo” to soulful reads of standards from Hammerstein / Kern, Fats Waller and Erik Satie, and a beautifully rendered original ‘Bamboo Flute Blues’.
