3-Point Mass-Loaded Suspension
The iconic SYSTEMDEK 3-point mass-loaded suspension isolates the sub-chassis, platter, and tonearm from external vibrations and structural resonance. By decoupling these critical components, the system blocks acoustic feedback and motor vibrations from affecting playback. The easily adjustable three-point design ensures even load distribution and self-stabilization while maintaining precise alignment, improving both tracking accuracy and channel separation.
Constrained-Layer Mass Damping (CLMD)
The REVOLUTION features an extremely stiff Richlite and birch layered plinth and sub-chassis construction, designed to minimize internal resonance. This structure also clamps the motor, effectively eliminating vibrations from the housing. Constrained-Layer Mass Damping (CLMD), which bonds multiple material layers with differing resonance properties, dissipates vibrations that could interfere with playback. This design reduces background noise, resulting in greater dynamic range and enhanced micro-detail retrieval from the vinyl surface.
Mechanically Adjustable Speed Control
The REVOLUTION offers mechanical speed adjustment of the AC motor for 33.3 and 45 RPM. The fine speed control allows precise tuning, which is then mechanically locked to guarantee reliable rotational accuracy. This ensures stable, repeatable performance with no electronic fluctuation affecting playback pitch.
High Inertia Delrin Platter
The Delrin platter is engineered for optimal rotational stability. Delrin, a high-density thermoplastic with low resonance characteristics, reduces energy storage and dissipation issues associated with metal or acrylic platters. The platter’s high mass and moment of inertia, in conjunction with a precision belt-drive system, creates a flywheel effect that ensures speed stability.
9 – 10 Inch Tonearm Compatibility
The REVOLUTION accommodates 9 – 10-inch tonearms, providing flexibility in system configuration. The mounting system allows precise alignment of different tonearm geometries, enabling optimization of tracking force, overhang, and azimuth. This adaptability ensures compatibility with a wide range of cartridges and tonearms, allowing users to tailor performance to their specific requirements.
