    Linn’s Majik level power amplifiers are available as two, three, four, five or six channel models, with RCA phono or balanced outputs, in silver or black, giving a really discrete one-box power solution where multiple channels are desired (bi- and tri-amping, active systems or surround sound for example).

    Majik amps use Linn’s patented Chakra amplification technology to deliver 100W per channel, resulting in virtually silent, cool running and highly efficiency amps and also feature Linn Dynamik switch mode power supply. These are perfect in combination for running Linn Aktiv systems – just match the number of channels required.

    Aktiv Upgrade
    Upgrading your Linn speakers to Aktiv is a great way to improve performance and also provides a significant step on the way to the ultimate upgrade of Exakt.

    Aktiv crossover cards fit inside Linn amplifiers and split the signal before it’s amplified, feeding a dedicated channel of amplification for each drive unit and bypassing the passive crossover inside your speakers. This significantly reduces the noise and distortion associated with passive crossovers and also unlocks further upgrade possibilities – with your speakers Aktiv, you have all the amps needed to go to the next level using an Exaktbox.

    Chakra Technology
    Patented amp technology combines the speed and precision of monolithic chip with the robustness and smoothness of bi-polar transistors. Chakra constantly adapts by using a monolithic at low currents and bi-polar transistors at higher levels. It’s a unique approach to transition between these technologies, guaranteeing precisely-controlled clean, silent power at all listening levels.

    Linn developed it’s own switch-mode power supply to generate stable, low noise power rails in a compact, cool-running package: critical to the performance of an amp. Dynamik is the latest evolution, with higher mains noise isolation, more power and faster response; clearly outperforming bulky and noisy conventional power supplies.

    Sound Sense
    All Linn power amps are designed to be efficient even when not in use. Auto signal-sensing detects the presence of an audio signal and minimises power consumption by reverting to sleep mode when inactive, while fault detection and protection mechanisms help safeguard your system against short circuit or excessive load damage.
