Lola is a 24 year old British artist from London! She took the music world by storm with her 2024 album ‘This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway’ with viral tracks like ‘Messy’ and ‘Wish You Were Dead’ that topped the charts for weeks.

You really get a feel for Lola and her vibe, this album did really well. Lola was nominated at the brit awards for best pop act in 2025.

The song we have chosen from Lola is her latest single ‘One Thing’ . This song has some very impressive vocals from Lola. This track has a pop vibe with a lot of different instruments and sounds to listen to. This feel good track is exactly what we have been waiting on from her and hopefully much more music on the way!

We recommend listening to this song with headphones on a walk in the sun and you are sure to walk to the sound of the beat!

Album Not To Be Missed

Moncrieff - Maybe It's Fine

Moncrieff was very excited and nervous for this album to come out but I’m sure that you will agree that he had absolutely nothing to be nervous about! This album made it to number 1 in the Irish charts within a week of its release. This album was in the works for nearly 10 years and shows him growing from his teenage years to an adult and this is his way of saying life and love is messy but maybe it’s fine!

‘Shangri-La’ is a fan fav on the album, Moncrieff describes the song as embodying the feeling of being swept away by someone who makes everything feel cinematic, even when aware of potential heartbreak. This track just makes you want to get up and dance, it’s very fitting for summer.

The album as a whole is a beautiful work of art that has had a lot of work put into it. These are lyrics that a lot of people will be able to relate to in your own life.

A direct quote that he said to his fans before this album came out: ‘Whatever you are going through, maybe just ride it out and look at it to see whatever is bothering you, and just be like, all these bad outcomes there are potentially equal amounts of good outcomes. And maybe it’s fine!’

We hope you enjoy the listen through of this album, we recommend listening on a chilled evening just you and the music and really get into the headspace and immerse yourself in the lyrics and melodies for a full emotional journey.

Trip Back In Time

The Killers - Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll

For this trip back in time we are taking you back to 2004, The Killers who I’m sure don’t require any introduction released ‘Hot Fuss’ and it is probably one of the most popular albums to date, This album was extremely successful and contains one of the world biggest songs ‘Mr Brightside’

The song we have chosen for this Trip back in time is ‘Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll’ . This is one of the forgotten tracks on this album but one of our favorites! It’s got a good vibe to it, The track showcases Brandon Flowers’ distinctive vocals and the band’s signature post-punk revival sound. Despite Flowers’ personal reservations about the song, it remains a testament to the band’s early style and has been revisited in later performances.

We recommend listening to this track on your next car karaoke session, sing it loud!
