sombr - we never dated

At just 19 years old, rising star sombr is already making serious waves in the music world. With a voice that stops you in your tracks and songwriting that cuts deep, it’s no surprise he’s caught international attention even landing a spot on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in the U.S.

sombr began writing music in 2021, and in just a few short years he’s crafted a distinct style that blends raw emotion with haunting melodies. His songs are rooted in heartbreak and vulnerability, and his ability to translate complex feelings into lyrics makes his music feel deeply personal and universally relatable.

His latest single, ‘we never dated,’ is no exception. With rich ’70s-inspired tones, layered harmonies, and a fresh modern twist, the track showcases sombr’s vocal depth and emotional range. It’s soulful, and beautifully nostalgic, capturing the ache of unspoken love and almost-relationships with poetic precision.

We recommend listening to this track with headphones to really appreciate this song!

Album Not To Be Missed

Calum Hood - ORDER chaos ORDER

Calum Hood, best known as the bass backbone of 5 Seconds of Summer, takes a bold leap into solo artistry with his debut album ‘ORDER chaos ORDER, released June 13, After 14 years of global touring and four Billboard‑topping albums, Hood steps out alone, channeling his personal journey into a deeply introspective and sonically adventurous record.

A lot of the time when band members go solo it can be a hit or a miss but when you listen to this album we are sure you will agree it’s a huge hit!

This album showcases indie‑electronica with a artistic palette far from 5SOS’s punchy pop-rock

As Calum puts it, the album was “made in a tumble dryer of knowing and not knowing… I started out with a vision order but quickly became overwhelmed by the process chaos. Eventually… that balance became the heart of the record”

This debut is a confession booth set to melody Hood reflects on family, upbringing, love, grief, and fame. as the lead single from ‘ORDER chaos ORDER’, ‘Don’t Forget You Love Me’ is Calum Hood’s rawest, most vulnerable offering to date. It opens with ambient synths and melancholic piano chords that immediately set a moody, introspective tone. From the first line, it’s clear this isn’t 5SOS-era, it’s something far more intimate.

We recommend listening to this album in a relaxing space where you can fully immerse yourself in the music.

Trip Back In Time

Madness - Baggy Trousers

And finally we are taking you all the way back to 1980! Madness, who I’m sure need no introduction, are one of the biggest SKA bands in the world with their signature sound that never goes out of fashion alongside the Doc Martins their fans bought all those years ago…

One track that perfectly captures the band’s quirky spirit is the iconic ‘Baggy Trousers.’ Released in 1980, this song is a time machine straight back to school days mischief, daydreaming, and the chaos of the classroom all rolled into one ridiculously catchy tune.

With its lighthearted lyrics and rollicking pace, “Baggy Trousers” is more than just a song it’s a slice of pure nostalgia. Whether you grew up with Madness or you’re just discovering them now, this track is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and maybe even get you dancing like no one’s watching.
