Not long into the new year and we’ve already received some fabulous new demo stock.

We have the next tranche of MOON’s North Collection – 641 integrated amplifier and 681 network player / DAC.

The 641 is a 125 W amplifier that sits at the top of the tree in the MOON integrated range. It features MOON’s new Distortion Cancelling circuit for ultra low noise, plus it also has a brand new volume control – M-VOL3 – which is an electronic gain control that allows for precise adjustment without degrading the sound quality.

Like the 791 streaming preamplifier, it also comes with the gorgeous BRM-1 remote control.

641 integrated amplifier retails at £11,000.

The 681 Network Player / DAC has every input and service compatiblity that you could dream of, and is now MOON’s top stand-alone streamer.

It also has a clever new hybrid volume control, so it can be used as a pre if you so wish, though partnered with the 641, you’d no doubt want to have the fixed output.

Like the 641 it has a large 4.3” colour display and the fit and finish is as impressive as you’d expect.

These are precision instruments, with the new curved heat sink details giving them an even more luxurious look.

Whilst they make for terrific partners together, they can easily be put separately into systems and shine.

681 network player / DAC retails at £12,000.
