In a world of planned obsolescence we’re delighted that most all our manufacturers buck the trend, none more so than Linn who have just announced Utopik, the culmination of their research and development into power supply technology, which will be retrofittable to much of the range.

Linnies might recall the Dynamik power supply launch in 2009; an upgrade which found its way into thousands of existing products as well as featuring in all new product design. Dynamik significantly raised the performance of any products it was installed into and, 14 years later, Utopik again knocks things out of the park.

Utopik differs from the Dynamik in that it delivers maximum power without impacting speed, responsiveness or efficiency. Likewise it delivers an absolutely stable output voltage, regardless of fluctuations to the input voltage. It’s the cleanest and best sounding power supply Linn has ever produced and, like Dynamik, will roll out into new and legacy Linn products in the coming months.

Utopik now ships as standard in Klimax DSM and Selekt DSM and is available to be retrofitted for the following products:
