The Media Room

An existing customer of Loud & Clear, the client approached us with the ideal brief – an empty room and a desire for a great sounding music and movie system which would look as good as it sounded.

Taking considerable design input from the client and his wife, we put together our own team of tradesmen – Greg from Maragos Joinery for the building work and to sheet the room, Paul Tamburrini of Tamburrini Electrical to run our cables as well as install the lighting scheme which our own Allan Land had put together. Michael from the Craftsmen of Glasgow to design, manufacture and install the stunning media wall.

Additional pressure was put on the team as we were given a Christmas deadline – just six weeks from the outset of the job.

Our core equipment was contained in a 19” rack which Michael incorporated into his design. The three front speakers built into the base of the media wall are the amazing Platinum in-walls from Monitor Audio.

Control is via an iPad running Control4 which also links in with a Lutron Grafik Eye lighting controller.
