Once again working with the client and their interior designer, the brief was to create a great sounding, fabulous looking cinema room, based around an 8’ electric screen hidden within the arch of their window.
All of the Denon electronics as well as the Sonus Faber centre channel speaker are housed in a purpose-built, low level cabinet in the window.
The client has also recently installed a Nintendo Wii, which has helped change the feel of the room from a Grand Cinema to more of a Centre Court. Seven rooms of distributed audio and video were installed at the same time, with each room controlled by a small, touch-screen pad located adjacent to the light switches.
The multi-room audio system which comprises twin radio tuners and a CD hard drive is located along with the necessary amplifiers in an upstairs cupboard.
