This project involved the creation of a performance home theatre discreetly built into a dedicated basement room.
The room had already been prewired by Loud & Clear in conjunction with the property’s original developer. Video was provided via an Epson 4400 projector and a Beamax Velvet fixed screen wall 2.4m wide.
Audio comprised a Pioneer LX53 BluRay, Pioneer LX53 AV Receiver, Definitive Technology UIW RLS 111 left centre right in wall speakers, a Velodyne SPL1000 Ultra subwoofer and two pairs of Monitor Audio 265fx in-ceiling rear speakers.
All of the equipment was rack mounted outside the room in an external cupboard with the exception of the Blu-ray player.
Control was via a Universal Mx3000 touch screen RF remote control with MRF350 base station also linked to a Lutron GRAFIK Eye lighting controller.
Approximate budget cost
