Audiovector R1 Arrete

To begin our Audiovector adventure, we have chosen the R1 Arreté standmounts and R3 Arreté floorstanders.

The R3 Arretés take pride of place in our front shop and are performing beautifully with our Rega Planar 10 turntable and Accuphase E-650 integrated amplifier. The R1 Arretés are currently singing in our upstairs demo room with the Accuphase E-380 amplifier.

Both speaker cabinets are beautifully finished in carefully selected wood veneers – the R3 in Italian Walnut and R1 in African Rosewood. Alternative finishes are Black Ash and White Silk.

Each speaker in the Audiovector R Series is available in three specification levels – Signature, Avantgarde and Arreté – Arreté employs the best quality materials, components and technologies throughout.

R3 Arreté is £8,725
R1 Arreté is £4,700 (stands £775).

Both are available for listening sessions now, email glasgow@loud-clear.co.uk or call 0141 221 0221 t book.

THE PERFECTLY BALANCED AUDIOPHILE SPEAKER

The R3 Series is a compact speaker line based on a mixture of evolution and new inventions.

Patented Audiovector designed in-house drivers made in Denmark, hand-crafted Audiovector Air Motion Transformer tweeters made with extreme precision and state of the art cabinet quality. This makes these models incredibly strong performers, as numerous reviews around the globe testify.

Audiovector Freedom is a new and revolutionary grounding technology, which addresses the movement induced distortion of and between the drive units in a loudspeaker. The currents running between the chassis are being processed and dealt with through a new separate crossover, which routes the signal to the ground terminal of your wall socket or your grounded mains distribution unit. Contrary to conventional knowledge, these currencies cause coloration and distortion between the drive units. By balancing and filtering these through a dedicated separate filter and by offering the possibility of connecting the speakers to earth/ground, R3 achieves a clean, very accurate, significantly more realistic sound with a low noise floor. (Arreté models only).

COMPACT HIGH-END PERFORMERS

The R1 Series delivers a speedy response with great detail and dynamics. The design handles of percussions and bass notes easy in a clean, nimble and natural way. These 2-way, rear-ported stand-mount speakers, use a non-parallel tear drop design to minimize internal standing waves. Using concepts derived from their larger siblings, the R 6 & R 3 models, the R 1 Series delivers a precise soundstage with a sense of power and punch that belies their size. These little wonders leave the listener wanting more.

In order to take full advantage of the Audiovector tweeters and the hand assembled mid/bass drivers made with Aramid Composite membranes, the front baffle is narrow. The result is a smooth, precise sound diffusion – an ‘out of the box’ sound that keeps unwanted diffraction distortion to an absolute minimum.
