So, I\u2019ve mentioned The Parlor Mob (only 3 times now) before. I may even have said that they weren\u2019t all that great at communicating (maybe by today\u2019s social media standards) what was happening in their world. Until you realise that they haven\u2019t exactly been slacking. In between records\/labels\/jobs to finance what they\u2019re doing, three members of The Mob have also been working on side projects\u2026<\/p>\n

First up is guitarist\/keyboard player\/singer\u00a0David Rosen and Drummer Sam Bey, who\u2019ve conjured up country-garage-rock\u00a0duo The Black Jesuses and released their first full length album last year. They even put it out on vinyl. There\u2019s plenty of Jack White\/The White Stripes influence going on here and it\u2019s a solid album from start to finish. There are some nice live clips available on their website here<\/a>\u00a0for a wee taster.<\/p>\n

Drummer Sam is also keeping busy in second duo Gods, with (the multi-talented\/producer\/engineer and)\u00a0second Mob guitarist Paul Ritchie. This is a more Psychedelic affair and listening to debut album \u2018Endless Stunner\u2019 has had me longing for summer as it\u2019s the perfect soundtrack. And finally, please remember that just because you can stream these albums via Bandcamp\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0here<\/a>,\u00a0doesn\u2019t mean that these guys don\u2019t want\/need paying for their hard work.
