Recorded around a single microphone in a vintage all-analogue studio in Nashville, by 3 female singer songwriters – Emily Barker (Linn Records), Amber Rubarth and Amy Speace – whose voices blend together in breathtaking musical harmony to produce elegant, timeless, original music with stripped down instrumentation. The session tape was mastered and cut at Gearbox Records, (one of London’s finest analogue/valve vinyl mastering operations and audiophile label of gathering note), keeping the 100% analogue chain throughout the process. The resulting vinyl is a contemporary album of a pure audiophile nature, perfect for playback on an a high-end vinyl system… why not join us for a listen? We’ll be playing the album in full from 7pm, book early to secure the comfiest seats!

If you want a taster before that, the girls will be appearing live on the Andrew Marr Show on BBC1 on Sunday 17th July, and are supporting Mary Chapin Carpenter across the UK in July. And as well as the formal playback, we’ll have the album playing most of that week in our dem rooms for drop-in listening.

There will be vinyl copies here to buy and the chance to enter Gearbox’s prize draw with a unique prize at stake – a one-off 1/4″ reel to reel tape direct copy of the actual master tape, housed in a special Applewood Road box.
